Friday Night Concerts in the ParkThis free outdoor concert series, which runs May - August, is the hottest summer spot for Friday nights downtown. The shows feature local artists, representing several music genres including rock, pop, blues and folk. Music addicts and happy hour junkies fill up Cesar Chavez Plaza at 10th and J streets to enjoy live music, fresh air, good food, and the famous beer garden. Sacramento French Film FestivalThe Sacramento French Film Festival is an annual event held in July.
