Voluntourism
The Sacramento Convention & Visitors Bureau recognizes that in this day and age, more people are feeling a need to connect to others; to foster a sense of "global community." In a collaborative effort with various Sacramento organizations, we would like to extend an invite to add a community service component to your next meeting. The option for convention attendees to participate in a local community-based volunteer project allows visitors to give back to the community hosting their event, while leaving with a more fulfilling experience and a higher regard for the host city.
