The Sacramento Gold Card is a unique new way to make the most of your next visit to Sacramento. It's exclusively for hotel guests. The card - using “smart card” technology - has a computer chip embedded in it which is programmed to provide special offers at dozens of participating restaurants, attractions and retailers.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. It's absolutely FREE to guests at participating hotels.
Does the card expire?
Yes. At midnight on your day of check-out.
How do I get my Sacramento Gold Card?
Simply ask for your FREE Sacramento Gold Card when you check in at a participating Sacramento-area hotel. That's it. A front desk staff person will activate your card upon check-in. Along with your card you'll receive a list of participating restaurants, attractions and merchants who are offering exclusive savings for Sacramento Gold Card users. How do I use my Sacramento Gold Card?
Visit one of the Sacramento Gold Card participants, such as the California State Railroad Museum, Hard Rock Cafe or Westfield Shoppingtown's Downtown Plaza Mall. Present your card to the cashier or admission desk staff person. That person will insert your card into a reader which will inform him or her of your special savings, such as a 2-for-1 admission, free appetizer or discount on shopping. It's that easy.
How do I book my hotel room?
However you want! Just make sure it's at a participating hotel. You can book your room through our website, through the hotel's own website, with a travel agent or any other way you like. Find your best rate or package then just ask for the FREE Sacramento Gold Card when you check in.
I'm staying with family when I visit Sacramento. Can I still get a Sacramento Gold Card?
No. The card is only for those who are staying at a participating Sacramento hotel.
