Contest Rules
No purchase necessary to enter. Must be 18 years or older to enter. Prize will be awarded to one person and is good for two persons only. One entry per person. Entry form must be fully completed with name, address, phone and e-mail address.
Contest is offered only electronically via the Internet and only within the fifty United States.
Contest is open to all natural persons who are legal residents of the United States throughout the term of the Contest, who, as of time of entry, are 18 years of age or older. Employees, officers, and directors of Sacramento Convention & Visitors Bureau and their Sponsors, their parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, and legal advisors, and marketing/public relations agencies, their immediate family members and persons living in their same household, are not eligible to participate in the Contest.
Void where prohibited. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.
No alternative prize, cash equivalent, or other substitution is permitted except by Sponsor in the event of prize unavailability. Prize must be redeemed for the dates of May 15 and 16, 2010. No exceptions. Winner must confirm that he or she is able to redeem the prize on May 15 and 16. Prize redemption is the sole responsibility of the winner. If confirmation is not received by May 5, 2010 a new winner will be selected. All federal, state and/or local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.
Winner will be determined by a random drawing from all eligible entries, to be held May 3, 2010. All decisions are final and binding. Odds of winning will be determined by the number of eligible entries received. The winner will be notified by phone and by e-mail. Sponsors are not responsible for and shall not be liable for late, lost, misdirected, or unsuccessful efforts to notify winner.
Winner may be required to sign and return a release of liability, affidavit of eligibility, and, where lawful, a publicity consent agreement, all within seven (7) days of acknowledged notification. By accepting and/or using prize, winner and guest agree to the use of their names, voices, or likenesses for the purpose of advertising, trade, or promotion without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. If a selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim a prize, or fails to timely return the completed and executed affidavit and releases as required, prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected.

By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sacramento Convention & Visitors Bureau and/or the Sponsor which shall be final. Sacramento Convention & Visitors Bureau, Sponsors, agents and representatives of Sponsors, their parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, and legal advisors, are not responsible for and shall not be liable for:
- telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet, or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties of any kind;
- failed, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions;
- any condition caused by events beyond the control of the Sponsors that may cause the Contest to be disrupted or corrupted;
- any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising in connection with or as a result of the prize, or acceptance, possession, or use of the prize, or from participation in the Contest; or
- any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the Contest. Web Marketing and/or the Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend or cancel this Contest at any time if a computer virus, bug, or other technical problem corrupts the administration, security, or proper play of the Contest.
Participation
By participating in the Contest, participants agree to release and hold Sacramento Convention & Visitors Bureau, Sponsors and the employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, representatives of Sacramento Convention & Visitors Bureau, Sponsors, their parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion, and fulfillment agencies, and legal advisors, harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with the Contest or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize, including without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.
