zooming at over 30 mph through the tree-lined streets and past the State Capitol
in downtown Sacramento. The Stage 1 Finish is the end to a qualifying time-trial. It is cycling's
glamorous and most exciting part of the race and it's happening in Sacramento!

I had the honor and pleasure of racing the Tour of California several times before I retired from professional athletics at the end of 2008. I´m a Sacramento native and have spent most of my life living here. Now I am raising my own family here in the Central Valley.
